My name is Dan
Working with wood is something I have done casually most of my life, and something I really enjoy doing. However, it was not my career choice so remained something I did as a hobby while raising children and earning a living. When covid came along in 2020 I was working in an industry that saw hundreds and on busy days thousands come through the doors on a daily basis. I decided this wasn't for me, and I retired a bit early to pursue my lifelong dream of woodworking. Each peice, on this site, is crafted by myself in my small shop. Cutting boards, charcuterie boards are my go to projects, but sometimes a peice of wood will just speak to me. Douglas fir cookies that became lazy susans, a slab of poplar that begged to be a hallway bench, or a big leaf maple burl, now a beautiful epoxy table. I love the creativity it affords me and I hope you enjoy my pieces as well.
