Pizza Peel

Wooden Pizza Peel made with sapele.  Sapele has all of the qualities of maple for kitchen utensil use but is darker in color and can have very beautiful grain.  An excellent addition to any kitchen.  Tapered front edge makes easy work of getting the pizza out of the oven.  A slightly raised handle, on the top side, helps to prevent the hot pizza from sliding back onto your hand.  The handle is flush with the paddle on the bottom side, allowing the peel to sit flat on the counter or table for serving.  Beautiful grain highlighted by a safe for direct food contact hard wax oil finish.  Suitable for a large, 30cm (12 inch) pizza.
